I just had 1 of the ignition devices for 1 of the burners replaced. When the appliance man showed me the completed job I noticed that all the burner were sparking when he would turn any 1 on. He said that is the way it is supposed to work, I didn't see it do that prior to the repair. It seems like the parts would wear out quicker if they sparked even when not needed. Is he correct is he blowing smoke up my @ss.
