My latch broke on my 1 year old Amana DW..the appliance man installed a new one and all WAS fine till I realized that when I go to open the door mid-cycle the water doesn't shut off and the kitchen gets soaked!! Also the clean light never goes off after I open the door when the DW is done....I want to call the appliance man back...he said it might be a "NEW" problem having nothing to do with his latch install....HELP….

your servicer should return to diagnose at no charge then just charge parts and labor for the new findings. of course if you are out of normal zone then expect to pay additional trip fees. watch what he does upon his return, you can usually tell when someone is bluffing.
