viking gas range tube not igniting

there's no viking cat, so I'll post here in hopes of a generic answer... I have Viking Professional gas range. The Oven has two burner tubes with ceramic glow bars.

glow bars both appear hot, left tube ignites, but right tube does not.

Is there anything to test or try? Should I just order a new glow bar and install it? Does it require a tech, or doable by the average DIY guy?

Sounds like the igniter alright. It's not drawing enough amps to open the safety valve. If you have an amp meter, you can check the amp draw should be between 3.3-3.6 on most Vikings. This seems to be a common problem with Vikings more so than most. Easy to install. Don’t touch the ceramic part of the igniter. Only 2 wires but use special wire nuts if needed. I recommend replacing both if they are of the same age.
